Your first stop is Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty region, a beach town boasting a temperate climate and stunning natural scenery. Next comes Wellington, New Zealand’s sunny capital city and cultural melting pot. Sail to historic Akaroa and explore its colonial architecture or stroll the streets admiring local crafts and beautiful artwork. Discover Maori and Scottish heritage in Dunedin and watch for indigenous wildlife – including dolphins and Fiordland penguins – in Dusky Sound. Doubtful Sound and the famous Milford Sound present breathtaking views of towering peaks and roaring waterfalls. After two serene days at sea, the Celebrity Solstice docks in Hobart, Tasmania, a bustling seaport with commanding views of the 4,170-foot-high Mount Wellington. A day docked in Melbourne offers opportunities to discover 19th-century architecture, the scenic coastline and the city’s more modern plazas, shops and restaurants. We base children’s pricing on their age at the time of travel. Their reservation has to be booked and paid for in order for you to check them in.
Please remember to book a reservation for everyone you’re bringing along on your DreamTrip before you travel or they will not be permitted to board the ship.
Each traveler must have a government-issued picture ID (e.g., a driver's license) in addition to a government-issued birth certificate, an original naturalization certificate or a valid passport that expires at least 6 months after this trip.
As always, make sure that your passport/visa is up-to-date before you leave! It’s very important to double check that you have all the necessary identification required for the specific country you’re traveling to. Keep in mind that many countries require passports and/or visas to be valid for a minimum of six months after the end date of the trip.
Airfare is not included in the DreamTrip price! Before purchasing airfare, please note that your cruise will begin in Auckland, New Zealand, and end in Sydney, Australia.
The closest commercial airport to the port for your arrival flight is Auckland Airport (AKL) in Auckland. The closest commercial airport to the port for your departure flight is Sydney Airport (SYD) in Sydney. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your port, as they’re not included in the trip price.
Cancellation Policy: This trip is non-refundable from the time of booking.
Name changes are not allowed. Requested name changes are considered a cancellation and will require re-booking, if space is still available.
No changes of any kind are allowed within 30 days of sailing.
Guests younger than the age 21 who are not traveling with a parent, grandparent or court-appointed legal guardian must travel with an adult 25 years of age or older and stay in the same stateroom. Infants younger than 6 months in age are not permitted by the cruise line to travel.
Prices are per person and do not include government fees and taxes.
Final cabin category and location are at the total discretion of the cruise line and may result in an obstructed view.
Upgrades are at the discretion of the cruise line, based on availability and would entail an upgrade charge.
Expectant mothers are prohibited from traveling on this trip if pregnancy is 23 weeks or longer on date of travel. Penalties will apply if cancellation is required.
Members are limited to only one cabin unless booking for children ages 18 and younger.
Booking for other members is not permitted.
If we are unable to successfully process your credit card, the booking request will be cancelled.
Gratuities are not included and average — per person per day —US$12.95 in Standard Staterooms; US$13.45 in Concierge Class and Aqua Class; and US$16.45 in Suite Class.
Members can’t combine DreamTrips™ Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.
Onboard credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your embarkation of ship.
At the time of booking, you will see a page with your order number and trip cost. This is your confirmation. Please retain and bring this information with you on your trip.
After your booking is confirmed, you may also receive a pre-check-in email.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.
Please note: Due to contractual supplier policies, we may not be able to confirm requested name or room changes to existing bookings for trips that are scheduled to travel within 30 days of your request.
