With more than three thousand years of monumental history under its belt, Athens is a city with a heritage few can match. Relics from its world-shaping era as Ancient Greece’s greatest city-state include the Acropolis (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and the extensive collections of the National Archaeological Museum. Modern-day Athens continues to wield influence as one of Europe’s biggest capitals.

Check into the hotel any time after 2 p.m.

Full day of service with local nonprofit Desmos; includes transportation. Your volunteer day will include beautification and light construction work in a local community.

Additional Information
Desmos is an affiliate/nonprofit organization that WorldVentures Foundation works closely with. Participating in the Volunteer Day on this DreamTrip will involve light physical work projects and cultural immersion. Their mission is to ensure that each and every donation to a Greek charity makes the biggest possible impact. Over the past year, they have been working around the clock to assist more than 65 Greek charities, including orphanages and soup kitchens, meet their daily needs.
Children 12 years and older are welcome to volunteer if accompanied by parent and/or guardian.
At the time of booking, you will see a page with your order number and trip cost. This is your confirmation. Please retain and bring this information with you on your trip. Another confirmation will not be sent.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.
If you are traveling internationally to join this trip, please ensure that your passport is current and any required visa is obtained and valid. Many countries require passports and/or visas to be valid for a minimum of six months after the end date of this trip. It is your responsibility to obtain any required visas and other documentation prior to traveling. If you are unable to obtain a visa, the Cancellation Policy for this DreamTrip will apply.

Transportation
Airfare is not included in the trip price! The closest commercial airport to the hotel is Athens International Airport (ATH). We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your hotel, as they’re not included in the trip price.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 36 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll get a full refund. If you cancel within 35 days of the start date of your trip, your trip will not be refunded.
Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 30 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.
Members can’t combine DreamTrips Rewards Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Rewards Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.
