About Your Trip

On this DreamTrip to France, you’ll visit leading regions by comfortable coach to enjoy a scenic and unforgettable visit. An expert tour director will serve as your personal concierge as you drive along the Seine from Paris to Rouen, the capital of the Normandy Region. Visit the impressive Rouen Cathedral to see this enormous Gothic masterpiece before walking a short distance to see Place du Vieux-Marché – the site where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in 1431. Continue to the Gold, Juno and Omaha Beaches in Normandy before visiting the D-Day Invasions Landing Museum. Return to Paris after a few more scenic stops in the beautiful French countryside to see world-famous destinations like the Notre Dame de Paris and the illustrious Louvre Museum.

What we love:
• Visit the beaches of Normandy, the site of the Allied invasion of Axis-controlled France in WWII.
• The Rouen Cathedral was the subject of a series of Impressionist paintings by Claude Monet.
• Landmarks dating back to the 1700s throughout Paris unify this modern, cosmopolitan city with its rich history.

Destination

Rouen is a port city on the Seine known for majestic cathedrals and centuries of history, spanning major moments like the trial and execution of Joan of Arc in 1431 during the Hundred Years’ War to Allied bombings in WWII. Today, it’s a major draw for tourists who want to see the Rouen Cathedral, artistic treasures in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen and even the beautiful Jardin des Plantes de Rouen ¬– a superb botanical garden. Villandry – also called the “Jewel of the Loire” – is home to the elaborate Château de Villandry, a scenic Renaissance castle and expansive gardens. It was inscribed a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000 as part of the “Loire Valley between Sully-sur-Loire and Chalonnes” designation. Paris is the capital of France and one of the world's most visited destinations thanks to its historic architecture, stately museums and boutique shopping. The Eiffel Tower stands out on the Parisian skyline, instantly recognized by travelers from around the world.
